Hi all,

Has anybody noticed any population change in the above species this or over the last few years?

Having lived in my current location for 18 months- and only established a local patch over the last 6 months or so Im not in a position to comment on the population of them around here. I am aware of a decline nationally but was wondering if there was a strong hold locally (somewhere in the UK).

Both have been present in my area, and have recorded Willow Tit in the garden recently. Hopefully with them feeding in the garden I will be able to keep an eye on them!

Regards,
Rob

Both are quiet birds so it's difficult to be sure. I hear them less than ten - twenty years ago, for sure, but did manage a few last year in an old haunt where I had given up hope, so it might be me.
