Getting B5's for tripod glassing. Already have swaro 10 x 42 slcs I love but want more magnification. So it's Maven B5 s I'm leaning towards 15x . Any thoughts?
I have the 12x56 B5s. They were fine for me in TX, they're fine for me here. Higher magnification is usually for big open spaces. In summer, heat haze will render big mags pretty useless because all you'll see is heat haze on steroids. I found the 12 to be a good compromise which also gave good viewing at dawn/dusk. YMWV
