The Collins guide for Europe also covers Morocco.

Sorry yes. The Collins guide is great for id for Morocco. The crossbill one has sites and walks for different species

Hi Andrew, late September is a great time for birdwatching in Morocco! A good field guide for the region is Birds of Morocco by Thévenot, Vernon & Bergier, though it can be hard to find. Alternatively, Birds of Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East by Lars Svensson covers Moroccan species well. If you need any specific tips on birding locations, feel free to ask
