Two weeks ago (10th of January 2020) I photographed a very distant Buzzard, on Dutch farmland (middle of the Netherlands, Flevoland polder). I just looked at the images a bit better (although, they unfortunately hurt the eye, because of small size and blurred image, so I have to apologise for the bad quality).
I assumed I saw a Common Buzzard, but now due to the light head, dark belly spot, light-coloured under wing and a hint of white on the upper tail (barely visible in the last image), I wonder if I was possibly looking at a Rough-legged Buzzard. However, the curiously dark tail (V-shaped?), the small size of its dark belly spot and the dark brown upper wing (visible when perched) lead me to think this is a Common Buzzard. Unfortunately I didn't get a look at upper wing and tail, as "my" bird was chased away by another (common) Buzzard (3th image, "my" bird to the left). Is it possible to ID this raptor? Or are my images just too small and unsharp and did I miss the angles needed to tell?
