I am Robert from Candor, NY. I have been in nature and wildlife photography for many years and this year i am going to try digiscoping. I was recently to a lake looking for a tufted duck, rare for my area and they were so far offshore my camera was useless. so, I am going to mount my Lumix G9 to the spotting scope and see what I can get.

Hi Robert and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

Hey!! Tufted Duck is 'ours'!!! You're not going to pinch them LOL I think the duck you will be looking for is the Ring-necked Duck.
They do look very similar.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
