Heard by bat recorders in Devon this week.

Hope the sound file works.

Cheers.

Sounds..almost like a ''very pure'' Song Thrush that hasn't been told..that it's song consists of a more complex arrangement, that is normally uttered in triplicate.

Don't think it is a demented ST, as I believe the single note is purer?...whatever it is..I believe I can detect some accoustics?

cheers

I've been thinking about this and wonder if it might actually have been a fox? They can make some strangely bird-like sounds.

This has been bugging me, as as soon as I heard the recording I said to myself 'I know that..'. Cut to a woodland walk and what do I hear? That very same call. The guilty party?
Great Tit.
