Hi all. I’m taking a road trip to Lake Turkana via Mt Ololokwe, Samburu and Marsabit in Sept/Oct. Has anyone got species lists from these areas to help me pin down likely birds?

Very envious Dave. Is this an organised trip or are you doing it independently?

Jambo mate, great part of the world. We happened to make the mistake of visiting Lake Turkana just after it had rained in the Chalbi which turned it into a quagmire - we probably 4-5hrs each day just digging the vehicle out so progress was VERY slow…… but Lake Turkana is worth it! Good luck with it!! your post brings back some great memories…

Yeah we’ve been keeping an eye on El Niño in case that affects the weather up there. Packing extra spades and have a plan B.
