Owl identification. All thoughts gratefully received! (1 Viewer)

My garden trail cam has been triggered by an owl on an almost nightly basis for the past couple of weeks.
Unfortunately it only ever seems to have its back to the camera or, on a rare occasion, a side view is offered.
As it has a white face my assumption was initially that it is a Barn Owl but looking at the darker feathers on its back and upper wings I wonder if it is a Tawny Owl.
It occurred to me that the face appears white because it is warmer than the body of the owl, ie thinner facial plumage.
I would be very grateful for your thoughts as to the species.
Thank you.

I'd say Tawny Owl too, the pointed band on the forehead, the nape plumage and the "non-demarcation" of wing/body's colors are my clues... but i'm not an expert and of course not sure...

Many thanks everyone!
The first images only showed a three-quarters on view of the bird's apparently white face and nothing more so I jumped to the conclusion that it was a Barn Owl. I've just set the camera* so perhaps the bird will oblige with a better view tonight.

*A Badger was already on the premises when I did that and he retreated to a safe distance for a minute or two.
He's on the front lawn eating peanuts as I type this.
