Hi looking for some help with these ones.

Red Phalarope? And no doubt the gull is obvious but it has me stumped.

The Phalarope looks like a Sanderling and the Larus looks like a 2nd/3rd year Western Gull.

Suprised to see 2 votes for sanderling,looks a pretty staraight forward Red(or Grey) Phalerope to me or am I missing something?
Seems to have yellow base to bill, dark wings against paler grey back black eye patch etc that all suggest Phalerope not Sanderling.
