Pipit? - Peru (2 Viewers)

This photo was taken in the desert close to Paracas, south of Lima. It appears to be a pipit and it seems Peruvian Pipit is the only one to be found in that area, but it just looks a bit plain to me and the legs look a bit dark (although it was taken in harsh light). Any thoughts?
