Plover, northern Maldives (1 Viewer)

Hello,
I've seen a few of these birds on an island in the Maldives. Definitely looks like a plover to me, but I'm not familiar enough with birds from the region to know which kind. Grey, maybe? The other option out there seems to be Pacific Golden. I have no idea how to tell these apart. Or maybe it's something totally different?

I would be interested to hear what you think. Apologies for the photos here being blurry photographs of blurry photographs. Hopefully there's enough here to be able to identify it.

Thanks!
