Pternistis harwoodi (Blundell & Lovat, 1899) OD here

The Eponym Dictionary of Birds claims:
Harwood's Francolin Pternistis harwoodi Blundell & Lovat, 1899
Leonard C. Harwood (fl.1888–at least 1920) was an English naturalist and taxidermist who had premises in Hammersmith, London. He accompanied Lord Delamere (q.v.) to Kenya (1896–1897) and made a 3-month collecting tour to Somaliland (1897) with Richard Hawker (q.v.). A mammal is named after him.

The Key to Scientific Names
Leonard Harwood (fl. 1899) English taxidermist, naturalist (Pternistis).

The mammal Dipodillus harwoodi (Thomas, 1901) OD here
I have named this pretty species after Mr. L. C. Harwood, the taxidermist who accompanied Lord Delamere and prepared the specimens. M. Harwood has been on a great number of East- and West-African collecting expeditions, and to his abilities much of the success of there expeditions has been due, at least so far as mammals and birds are concerned.

Of course we can find also here
The specimen had been forwarded for exhibition by Mr. Leonard C. Harwood.

Found him as well as:
Leonard C. Harwood, Naturalist, 9 Western Broadway, King Street, Hammersmith, London

Maybe we can find here his middle name (Charles?) and his life dates?
