Quality Bird Feeders (1 Viewer)

As a long time feeder, I"ve only found a few feeders that are quality built. The issue is when they finally need replacement, I can't find them again.

One of the best and the only one I ever saw has large round glass seed storage. It is all metal, top and round base. I added a 1" oak dowel across the bottom. I recall the documentation it came with said it was a woman owned company. Have you seen this feeder?

I'm always checking what the stores have. Most of the time there light plastic. The polycarbonate are decent. But I would like glass and metal.

Where are you guys shopping?

'Droll Yankee' feeders worked well for me. They are polycarbonate, so squirrels can chew through them, which makes a baffle or dome mandatory.
With that caveat, they are generous in size and easy to clean, so relatively low maintenance.
