Raiders of the lost dog kibbles (1 Viewer)

I have this pair of Australian Pied Butcher birds that have made my property their home.
The old female on the right seems to be getting ready to lay eggs. Her male partner on the left seems much younger.
Butcher birds have an incredible voice. They seem to almost turn themselves inside out when calling all their collection of sounds. Very loud. One can hear them from half a kilometre away.
They are great backyard raiders and make their homes mostly in metro areas [in this case Perth] where they look for dog and cat bowls left out with uneaten kibbles.
They are very tame and have a similar disposition and mannerism to the Australian magpie.
