Any help with ID of these would be gratefully appreciated!

photo taken in early october this year in Sikles, at about 2000m altitude (on the slopes of the annapurna range)

Thanks for that -- any idea of this one please? I'm thinking brown shrike. This was taken in Kingha, which is at about 3500m altitude just below Muktinakh (i.e.Lower Mustang region which is much more arid than Sikles). mid october 2022.....

oK - thanks - I'd not considered juveniles....duh....

might this be instead a juvenile long tailed shrike - they are super common in that area (I saw loads) whereas eBird suggests bay-backed is a rarity there? Or have I stumbled across a rarity? (Or ebird wrong?)
