I was at High Island, TX the first of May of this year and got this bird as pictured. I know that it is probably a red-eyed rather than the black-whiskered, but I thought I would get your opinion. it does seem to have a dark line where the whiskers would be in both pictures so, as they say, " hope springs eternal!" Merlin gave both as a possibility.
