I spotted the bird on the outskirts of town. This was 15th December 2023; and with the backdrop of bright sunlight, unfortunately the photographs are heavily silohouetted. I thought of Hooded Wheatear, but wondered about the very pale throat/lower cheek. I imagine it must be an immature or juvenile bird. However I am not experienced with Wheatears. Please may I request advice.

Hi. Not really, I'm just trying to learn as many, European/mid eastern and N American, species as I can! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ........ still, so many too learn!!...... I reckon I'll get there in about mmmmm........ 50 years or so! ๐Ÿ˜‚.
