I think this shot will benefit from some cropping. I've given it a tight crop. See what you think. Ian F may offer some better suggestions as he has a good eye for cropping.

That is a nice crop Rob and a lovely photo erm.. rob lol
There are things you can do to make the dof deeper if you wish. On this photo I have isolated the front deer and foreground. Then I have darkened and sharpened it slightly whilst at the same time slightly blurring the background and the deer behind. Gives a nice feeling of depth and distance.
