Hi, All:

New to Birdforum but have been birding since 1981. I birded avidly Back East (Eastern seaboard U.S.) but am still learning birds on the West Coast, where I have lived for 30+ years.
I'm currently upgrading my binocs (Conquests vs. HGs? Compacts vs. full size?) and planning a trip to Ecuador for either June or November.
