Seven birds circled Forge Mill twice and flew south west, there where also 14 birds at Belvide on the same date per Pete Hackett

White Fronted Geese

The birds where seen in Swan Pool Meadow late Saturday afternoon by a couple of the Rangers per Matt Hadlington

A cracking start to the year with 87 species logged. Highlights being Little Egret x2, Yellow Legged Gull, Great White Egret 2nd record, Goshawk, Barn Owl, Whopper Swan x3 and a party of 6 Wild Swans, Waxwings x2 and White Fronted Geese x32 to finish the month.
