If you could add me on to the list, I'm on 67 so far (Last year being Lesser Redpoll) . Is anyone else logging sightings on Patchwork Challenge?

Presumably the Glaucous Gull that graced the Valley with a brief appearance Saturday morning roosted at Bartley Reservoir in the evening

Curlew

The first documented record was in 1952 when birds where present in the Valley during the breeding season, now its only a passage migrant with most records being birds in flight, occasionally birds have landed and we had one bird spend three months with us in the Newton Fields, the maximum flock to date being eight birds seen in January 1985 since 2000 we have had birds yearly except 2004 and 2009, between 2000 and today’s bird 11th March 2018 we have had 32 records involving 35 birds.

There was a drake Goldeneye on Forge Mill this morning. 14 Wigeon were near Kingfisher corner and 12 Goosander along the river. I could only see 8 Lapwing on the island. That's a poor total for the beginning of the breeding season.per Pete Hackett
