Southern California Bird ID confirmation? (1 Viewer)

vbnut

Well-known member
I saw these two birds at San Joaquin Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine, California in the morning of June 16th.

My guess is that the first is a Western Meadowlark, and that the second is a Spotted Towhee, but I'm not certain of either one. Can anyone confirm (or correct) my identifications attempts?

Thanks.
