Terns in the Beagle channel, Ushuaia in mid November (1 Viewer)

Are these South American terns? Is the white lores on one of the sitting birds (to the right) significant? Also many of these birds show a characteristic semi-circular indentation in their black cap, just below the eye and I can't see any reference to it in my books. Anyone care to comment?
