Hiking the Akamas hills on the Smigies trail I saw 3 hawks perching on a tree trunk. When I crapped the camera, I scared them. First I though of Hobbies. I'm not so sure anymore. The three falcon flew around for a while in a sometimes flapping flight, circlee and were gone then. My first alternative were Red-footed Falcons? The pictures attached show quite strong falcons with a beige rump and more strokes than continuous stripes. Remarkable are the dark under wing covers and the lighter feather-spring bases. Maybe it's an Eleonora´s Falcon?
Thanks for ID to the experts
Cheers
Johannes
