I'm leaning toward Wood Thrush because of the reddish color but the cheek and throat do not seem to be as defined as photos in field guides, yet it seems too reddish for the Hermit Thrush. I'm sure someone in this forum can answer for me. Thank you

Hermit thrush has rufous uppertail contrasting with brown remainder of upperparts. Wood thrush is plastered underneath with big bold contrastingly-black spots. Hence, veery.
