Tree containing goshawk nest felled (1 Viewer)

The authorities seem (at best) extraordinarily naive to believe that someone went out and, according to their account, randomly decided (from many options) to fell a tree containing a Goshawk's nest. This despite (I'm told) Goshawk being very vocal in such a situation.

Here's more habitat and probable species loss - a 500 acre mixed wood and SSSI with nesting avian species such as Goshawk, Firecrest, Willow and Marsh Tit, L.S. Woodpecker to name a few. What other fragile species will disappear once it's disturbed, s*d this corporation and it's misleading advertising regarding nature and tranquility.
