Turnstone, Warwickshire, UK - male or female? (1 Viewer)

Matt Griffiths

ad. ♂ Blackcap
Hello all,
I found a Turnstone at my local lakes in Warwickshire early this morning, and have just uploaded a video of it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dTX1CBbULI (view full screen in 1080p). Videograbs below.
I wonder if anyone can tell if it's a male or female? Unfortunately it flew off before I could study it further.
Kind regards,
Matt

Sexes are alike except "male summer plumage is much better developed than in female" (Duivendijk) - I don't know if this would be possible to say conclusively from these photos.
