UK Beetle on Wild Strawberry (1 Viewer)

I was just going through some photos taken last month at Gait Barrows and I noticed these beetles on Wild Strawberry. I think I may be being a bit over-optimistic in hoping for an ID, but................

They're Nitidulid beetles of some sort. Maybe a Meligethes sp.? I don't think you'll ever get a species ID for one of these.

Hi Chris, in horticulture we call these pollen beetles. They seem to prefer yellow flowers, such as rape seed, and you can have a problem if you wear a yellow T shirt.
