UK Spider (1 Viewer)

I found this guy today inside an old telecom junction box that was on the side of my house. Can somebody ID it please. He/she was all black and around 30mm from leg tip to tip in this pic shown

No expert on spiders but believe it may be a steatoda sp. Out of touch now my son has got married and moved away so I don't get called on to look under every rock and piece of rotting wood for spiders and Slow Worms or, if abroad, scorpions and snakes!

Thanks Foxy, yes I did look at that species but couldn't find an all black type, not in the UK at least?

It's a False Widow Spider Steatoda noblis, the colour can vary.
