1) is this a male Northern Brown-Throated Weaver? (at The Boma, Entebbe, Uganda)

2) A male ??? weaver? Nothing quite matches because of leg colour/eye colour/ etc (at The Boma, Entebbe, Uganda)

3) Is this a Little Egret? (at Ngamba Island, Lake Victoria, Uganda)

4) is this an African Dusky Flycatcher? (at Mahogany Springs Lodge, near Bwindi, Uganda)

5) is this a Black-crowned Waxbill? (Ooops! This one was sighted in Rwanda, at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge sorry)

I'll leave the first two to someone more qualified on weavers than me.
3. Little Egret
4. juvenile Klaas’s cuckoo
5. Looks like a Black-crowned Waxbill to me.

After a bit of googling I found another BirdForum thread http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=164579 which mentions white behind the eye and if I blow up my very-ordinary photo (4) I can see a smidge of white so for the sake of my trip photo book I am happy to call it a juvenile Klaas cuckoo :)

Thanks so much again - you've all stopped me going crazy with confusion over weavers and sunbirds et al!
