Today's highlights at the Moors only. Disturbance at the Flashes.

MOORS: Pintail (5), Wigeon (8), Shoveler (16), Teal (c30), Gadwall (2), Little Egret (3), Little Grebe ( min of 14), Snipe (1), Avocet (1), Swallow (4),
Reed Warbler (4), Sedge Warbler (1), Goldcrest, Cormorant (14), Water Rail.

Firstly apologies for my uncharacteristic rant a few posts back. I’m better now thanks!
First visit since then and nice to see a lot of familiar faces - half the reason UW is so popular is the people that go there!
Bird wise not much to report;
Flashes - 2 Green and 2 Common Sandpiper, 3 Snipe, Grey Wagtail and Kingfisher to Sailing Pool. 2 Meadow Pipit new for me for the Autumn.
Moors - 3 Little Egret, up to 6 Chiffchaff of varying ages, a possible Willow Warbler along the west track but couldn’t get on it long enough.
 
Today's highlights at a disturbed Moors and Flashes:

MOORS: Redshank, Snipe (1), Little Egret (3), Little Grebe ( min of 10), Water Rail, Shoveler (4), Gadwall (4).

FLASHES: Green Sand (1), Common Sand (1), Curlew (9), Snipe (1), Lapwing (c60), Shoveler (16), Little Egret.
