I got a photo of the Siskin flock yesterday along the Salwarpe Alders. Using a counting app and adding about another 70 it missed it gives a flock of c250 birds of which no more than 25 were Redpoll.

Which one mate.... they confuse me ? I spotted an Arctic some years back to be told it most probably wasn't !! ??

Bottom left one from behind looks good for it. A photo of the rump would clinch it but certainly similar to the one I saw the day before, maybe a bit lighter/frostier in colour the one I saw

Details attached of a new darvic-ringed BHG seen at the Moors Pool this afternoon. The first sighting since it was ringed at the nest on 2022.
