Black-tailed Godwit at the Flashes this morning.
Leaving plenty of room for the expanding Avocet colony.Interesting that the BHG have switched back to the Moors Pool.
That, of course, should be waders rather than 'wafers' 🤦Fairly quiet at the Flashes this evening. Wafers present were: Oystercatcher (2), Avocet (60+), LRP (4), Lapwing (3) & Common Sandpiper (2). Two Common Terns & the 1st S Common Gull also noted. Two broods of three Canada Geese & one, much reduced, of Mallard.
I'll see if Dave has the full list list in a more user-friendly version than mine.First Hobby of the year on Saturday during which the reserve managed 83 species on the Spring All-dayer.
