Another new darvic-ringed BHG was seen at the Flashes early evening on 19th April. It was ringed in the nest at Welney WWT on 18th June 2024, this is the first sighting since then.

A Garden Warbler at the Flashes & a Greenshank over the Moors Pool car park were personal year ticks at #uptonwarren this am, as was a Broad-bodied Chaser at the North Moors Pool. Yellow Wagtail, Ringed Plover, Common Sand & 2 Cuckoos in flight together at the Flashes best of the rest. #WorcsBirds

A Whimbrel was at #uptonwarren Flashes this morning before flying off NE, RP, 6 LRP, Common Sand, 40 Avocet, 2 Oyks, 2 Common Tern, 17 Shelduck. A Cuckoo was singing on both sides of the reserve & a Broad-bodied Chaser was at the North Moors Pool. #WorcsBirds
