Just in case: I'll be in Vietnam the first 3 weeks of October 16. It's a family visit, but I'll do a few shorter trips in Vietnam. Nothing particular planned yet, so open to join others or others joining me, should there be anyone birding in Vietnam at that time.
Rough ideas so far:
- Migration in Hanoi (that's where I will be based between trips)
- Some days in Cuc Phuong, or Tam Dao if the weather is nice
- Central Vietnam with Mang Den and possibly near Ngoc Linh
- SBS south of Saigon (not sure if too early, and not sure if I'll make it that far south)
- I'm still shocked that they built a cable car up Fansipan. No, I won't use that now to try for all the Laughers I missed on my last trip there... no, certainly not!
