I was wondering if there are any reliable sites in Europe (if such a thing for this bird exists at all!) for Wallcreeper?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
We have a few reliable sites here in the Hautes Pyrenees, all involve a few hours rough high mountain walking, last winter we had a pair residing in our village of Luz St Sauveur. We can offer help finding this most elusive bird. Go to our website www.borderlinehols.com

You say there are wall creepers on the wall of St Hilarion Castle Northern Cyprus.
Could you tell us what time of year you saw these. Have been looking for one at a known site in the south (Avagas Gorge) but they are only here for approx 1 to 2 months during Dec and Jan.

Hi Dave,
While you are up in Girne(Kyrenia) try and check out the green jacket book shop for a copy of Peter Flints' book on Birds of Cyprus;its well worth it.Also David Bannermans' book on Birds of Cyprus is very good with excellent photographs.
