Water or rock pipit - Seamill UK (1 Viewer)

Would value your thoughts on this bird. I would have gone with rock pipit but have been indicated as possible water.

I also think that its a Water Pipit

Clean white belly with very limited and narrow streaking

really white wingbars

the grey on the back could be a little bit cleaner und not so smudgy, but it is still within variation for Water Pipit

While the supercilium is ok for Water pipit, I wouldnt take this into account as I have seen Rock with very similar looking faces

So: if the bird was really that white as it is appearin on my computer (pure, like washed with Persil) it can only be a Water
