Beautiful!A couple of days ago I went for a coastal walk in Cumbria, England. We had glorious sunshine and my Leicas gave me very memorable views of the sea, the red sandstone cliffs, the blue sky and, of course, a number of seabirds which I rarely see. Among them were razorbills, guillemots, gulls, cormorants and a raven that nested in the cliffs. Here's an in-flight shot of the raven.

I believe they have been decimated by Trichomonadidae.

We are on the Western Isles of Scotland and Arctic Skuas nest locally. I don't suppose they are all Darks though.Jammy! A Dark-phase Arctic is the stuff of dreams. In all the years and all the skuas seen, I have never, ever been lucky enough to see one.
Going by the prominent supercilium, it could be something in the line of an aquatic warbler (Acrocephalus paludicola). Have a look at this image, very similar shape in flight (I've made a crop of the image). Can anyone identify this bird? It has a lovely song.
