What is this bird? (1 Viewer)

Hi Luisa and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. It's a domestic duck of some kine, I think almost impossible to say what the parentage is, but many of them have Mallard somewhere in their genes. I'm not so sure it is leucistic, Aylesbury Ducks are white, but not leucistic - for more information on this condition, have a look in our Opus Dictionary: Dictionary G-L - BirdForum Opus

It might also be an idea to post this picture in our ID forum, but do tell them where you saw the bird and what the habitat was. They will do their best to assess it for you: ID forum

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hi Luisa and welcome to the forum. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group.
