Wheatear at Cildir Lake/ turkey (1 Viewer)

This image of a Wheatear was shot at Cildir Lake in north-eathern Turkey near the border to Georgia in late summer. I am thinking of a male Norther Wheatear due to the blakc mask and the brown back. But I cannot rule out other warbler species – e.g. Desert Wheatear. Maybe Norther Wheatear ssp. libanotica??

Thanks for ID to the experts.

Cheers

Johannes
