Small warbler seen in Crocoparc around crocodile pools with unusual way of flying for me - flycatching and hovering - which I saw at
Eastern Bonelli's warbler but not at chiffchaff.

For Iberian, you'd commonly expect some bright greenish to the wing edges etc. Usually a much brighter bird (maybe hence some more confusion to Willow W?).

(Call also distinct - a louder more strident call)

Exactly, even the plumage makes Iberian more difficult to distinguish from WW than from CC. We can thus safely identify our bird as a Common Chiffchaff.
