Evening all
Can I ask for some help/advice. I've been twitching around 7 years now, the Holy grail in birding to me would be to see whinchat. I've spent many many many hours trekking around the Antrim Hills I'm not local to that area and it's a vast region so it's like searching for a needle in a hay stack;) could any one help me to narrow my search area down a tad.
Any tips or advice will be appreciated
Thanks Allison

Hi Allison,

try Capanagh. It's a Forest Service plantation on the Star Bog Road which runs from Kilwaughter over to Glenarm.

Park at the gate entrance at the Kilwaughter end and walk up in from there.

No guarantees but saw photos of Whinchat taken there are the weekend.

Adam
