white wing doves (1 Viewer)

Hi from Phoenix,
I am also a newbie to this forum, and not very experiences in bird identification. I do have a question however, one of our migrating birds in Arizona is white wing doves. They are here now, arriving in April each year. This year the numbers seem to be dramatically down in my area, I am wondering if anyone else has noticed this? I have been observing them for 12 years at a source of running water and this is the first year they are this few in numbers.

Hi tricksie and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I've moved your post to allow you to have your own welcome messages and subscribed you to this thread so you know where to find it.

It might be an idea to ask your question in the Arizona section of the forum.

Hi Trixie and welcome to the forum. Nice to have you here. Down here in Southern Arizona I haven't seen any differences in my White Wings.
