Mr. Brock, Sir, we are sorry that we have to contradict you again, but the Thirty Years' War lasted from 1618 to 1648. There is no reason to assume any dates other than these. (The Wikipedia-site your link leads to does not contradict this at all.) Not that it would matter: those who died in 1623 are as dead now as those who died in 1618 - or in 2014.
