I have never thought of a hybrid MyrtleX Audubon in this species until I saw KC's post here.On the same day, I got a friend asking me about this (and these 2 incidences are not related). So I did a google, but am still puzzling. Some of the pics in the web that has been claimed to be Hybrid actually looks like a Juvenil Audubon to me. I then did a thorough search in my file and found a few photos.
The First one, I would normally passed it as Myrtle, but a careful look showed some yellow tinge in the throat. The second and third, I have labelled it as Audbon, but it has got that dark cheek patch and the white supercillium.
I would appreciate any help here from our fellow members.
Thanks in advance.
