Zeiss Dialyt Binoculars Rubber Casing Issue (1 Viewer)

Hi People!

I recently purchased a used pair of Zeiss 10x40 T*P* West German Dialyts. (I already have some older non rubberized ones.) The Rubber is coming loose in the section on the top where the Zeiss logo is in a square. What is the easiest way to stick the rubber back down, please? Thanks.

Use 3M VHB adhesive film (e.g. https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b40065871/ ) to attach it. Nothing better that I know of. Reversible if necessary, yet is super durable.
