Clanga hastata

Identification

50–60 cm (19¾-23½ in)

  • Overall brown plumage
  • Whitish streaks on breast
  • Gape extends to centre of eye

Distribution

Asia: found in India, Bangladesh and northern Myanmar.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1]. Formerly included in the genus Aquila.
