New Nikon adapters for Nikon 1 camera (1 Viewer)

Another observation I got from using the V1/DSA-N1 combo is that the image quality for shots at high EV is much better vis-a-viz the P300/FSB8 combo. The Booted Eagle I shot perched was very back-lit but I still able to get decent record shots at +1 to +2 EV (after much processing though). I don't think the P300 could muster any decent shots at the same shooting conditions.

May be I getting the hang of using the V1/DSA-N1 combo.

This bee-eater was shot pretty near (images cropped around 20%) and it stayed on the perch for over 10 minutes to allow me to obtain a fairly good manual focus.

Images were processed using Adobe Camera Raw 7 in CS6.

Settings: ISO100 1/160 -1/3EV.

Shot this Drongo and Flowerpecker in low light at ISO1000/ISO900 respectively and 1/250s using the DSA-N1. Pretty good record shots I reckoned in view of the high ISO and tough shooting conditions.
