Excellent Monocular (1 Viewer)

The search goes on...

In my search for the "best monocular" I have come across the Zen-Ray ZRS 8x42 and the Opticron Oasis DBA 8x42.
The Specwell and Walters monoculars are good for what they are (small/light 7x25s or 8x30s), but the ZRS and DBA must be the best of the best in the monocular class--they can easily compete with pocket binocs for the title of the best compact optics set. I will try to post a comparison between the ZRS and DBA on a new thread.

Platonic optics might not be as physically satisfying.
Like if you take them to the beach??
No filter layer for the 'harmful back-glances'.

I see Edgar Allen Poe made some reference, in regards to luminosity...
Dunno......I think I'll remain mystified.
