3 birds in Rouen, France (1 Viewer)

Thank you all .. a lot learnt ..
these 3 birds were also part of my June Normandy-Flanders tour and again Merlin is having trouble :)
I'm thinking common buzzard and yellow wagtail..
The third one I have no idea..

Not sure what that means. If Mr Dan says he's seen something I don't see a point in casting doubt on it.
Dear Members and Bird watchers!

Do not now if this thread is appropriate for my question, but as Merlin was discussed.

I used Merlin in USA and Canada, spot on every time, both picture and sound. And as I am a total novice I double checked with books to avoid making a tit out of myself.

But, I have used Merlin in Europe and Asia and NOT ONE SINGLE time have the Merlin manage to ID the birds. Anyone else have had this problem?

Funnily enough, Merlin was also being discussed on this other thread this week, don't know if you'd seen it -


Going from that thread, maybe you have the wrong pack/geographical setting??
